Pet Aftercare Website: built in Webflow
A website for a family-run pet aftercare business: individual cremation, home euthanasia and memorial keepsakes. We built it in Webflow: around 30 pages with services and prices by pet size, a keepsakes catalogue, a customer area with forms and photo upload, and a blog on the Webflow CMS that the team can update without a developer.

What does the site need to do?
People don't visit a pet aftercare website on a good day. They arrive after losing a pet, or while preparing for it. The site has to be calm, clear and quick: what the service is, what it costs, and how to reach someone right now.
It also has a second job. After the service, families come back to personalise keepsakes, share a memory of their pet or leave a review. So the site is both a first point of contact and a place customers return to.
How is the site structured?
The home page leads to five areas. Each one answers a different question a visitor might have, without making them dig.
| Area | What it contains | Built with |
|---|---|---|
| Services | Home euthanasia, cremation by pet size, pricing pages | Webflow pages and sliders |
| Keepsakes | Prints, castings, resin, memory bears, wooden keepsakes, jewellery | Webflow pages |
| Customers | Engraving form with photo upload, memorial submissions, reviews | Webflow Forms |
| Blog | News, events and pet-care advice | Webflow CMS |
| Contact & info | Enquiry form, pay-later page, terms, privacy, returns | Webflow Forms and pages |
How do you design for a hard moment?
The important choices were about the visitor, not the components:
- The phone number is on every page, at the top, with 24/7 availability. Someone in distress shouldn't have to look for it.
- Prices are shown upfront, split by pet size, so families know what to expect before they call.
- Payment options are explained plainly, on a separate page for spreading the cost, instead of in small print.
- The tone stays quiet. Soft language, no pressure, and a clear next step on each page.
What happens after the first contact?
The customer area turns the site into a tool for the business, not just a brochure. Families submit the personalisation for their chosen package through a form, including a photo for tribute boxes and frames. One structured submission instead of back-and-forth emails.
A memorial form lets families tell the story of their pet, and the blog keeps the site active with news and advice. Because the blog runs on the Webflow CMS, the team can publish posts without a developer.
Why Webflow for a site like this?
This is a content site with forms, not an app. There are no user accounts and no complex logic, so a full app platform would be overkill. Webflow fits because it gives:
- Full design control for a calm, custom look.
- A CMS the team can use to publish blog posts on their own.
- Built-in forms, including file upload for photos.
- Managed hosting, so there's no server to look after.
Webflow fits when:
- The site is mainly content, services and enquiries
- Your team wants to update pages and posts without a developer
- Design and first impressions matter as much as features
Choose something else when:
- Customers need accounts, dashboards or bookings with logic behind them. That's a web app; see Bubble.io development.
We build sites like this as part of our Webflow development service. If your business needs a website that works as hard as your team, tell us about it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Webflow a good choice for a service business website?
Yes, when the site is mainly content, services and enquiries. Webflow gives full design control, managed hosting, built-in forms and a CMS the team can use without a developer. If customers need accounts, dashboards or bookings with logic behind them, a web app platform such as Bubble.io is a better fit.
Can Webflow forms accept file uploads?
Yes. Webflow forms support a file upload field, so customers can attach a photo or document to their submission. It requires a paid Webflow site plan, and uploads have a size limit per file.
Can a business update its own Webflow site?
Yes. Content that changes often, such as blog posts, lives in the Webflow CMS, and the team can add or edit it in the Webflow editor without touching the design. Page layouts stay protected, so updates don't break the site.
Can a Webflow site show prices and take enquiries without an online shop?
Yes. Prices can be shown on regular pages, and enquiries come in through Webflow forms with the fields the business needs. A full e-commerce setup is only needed when customers should pay online directly on the site.
